Duplex Board

Renewable and recyclable by nature, fiber-based packaging is central to the circular economy, and chemistry expertise is key to unlocking its full potential. We provide end-to-end solutions and services that help producers of containerboard, cartonboard, and flexible paper packaging achieve the performance, sustainability, and compliance today’s market demands.

From recycled to virgin fibers, our chemistry enables recyclable, safe, and high-performing packaging while optimizing processes, improving resource efficiency, and supporting the industry’s shift from plastic to renewable fiber-based alternatives.

Duplex Board

Duplex board with grey back from Golden Paper Group is commonly known as gray-backed white, and also has white-backed board. It is white and smooth on the front and mostly gray on the back.

White on white means that the front and back are both white and smooth, but the paper core is grey. This kind of grey back duplex board is mainly used for color box printing in the packaging industry and is single-sided printing.

  • Our proven expertise in microbiological control, product safety, and regulatory compliance ensures hygienic production and food safety.
  • As the packaging value chain advances toward fully renewable fiber-based packaging,

Bulk and Stiffness

Crucial for packaging, representing its thickness/volume (bulk) and rigidity (stiffness), often achieved through multi-layer construction using recycled fibers for strength,

with variations like greyback or whiteback offering different properties for printing and durability in applications from pharmaceuticals to consumer goods, requiring balanced properties for optimal performance.

  • Bulk : Relates to the board's thickness (microns) and density, influencing its perceived substance and protective cushioning.
  • Stiffness: Measures the board's resistance to bending, crucial for maintaining box shape and integrity during handling.

Corrugated packaging

Expanding shipping market drives demand for strong, material-efficient corrugated packaging production.

Containerboard mills face challenges with variable fiber quality, contaminants, and process disruptions from recycled content, achieving lighter weight without compromising durability, eliminating fossil-based additives, and optimizing for both process and cost efficiency.

  • Market-leading dry strength additives enable basis weight reduction without compromising strength, stiffness, or performance.
  • Corrugated medium production, and all the way to efficient raw and wastewater management.

Bulk and Stiffness

Unique ,Innovative and Proven “AR-Bulk Improvement” for Paper

We at Arcis Bio-Tech india Pvt Ltd,Madurai have a proven unique and innovative product “ AR-Bulk Improvement” which increases the “bulk” of the paper with which it is treated during the paper manufacturing process. Apart from increasing bulk, it also enhances stiffness and strength properties of paper.

Our bulking agents enable production of paper of normal thickness from a much lower amount of virgin pulp, greatly contributing to saving resources. In addition to this bulking effect, these agents improve paper properties such as strength & stiffness. This is due to in-situ crosslinking of our bulking aid formulation.

It increase bulk of the fibers by raising the specific area of the fiber.
  • Any increase in ‘volume’ is exclusively independent of the furnished used.
  • The outcome results to improvement in porosity and enhances bulk with increased dry strength and increased stiffness properties of paper and board
  • Can be used for : Tissue paper, Cardboard & Duplex Board, Writing & Printing Paper.
