Tissue paper
There’s always room for improvement in any pulp line or bleaching operations. Arics Biotech offers targeted chemistry and applications know-how that can help you squeeze more efficiency and profitability out of your process. Extensive R&D and application knowledge throughout the entire papermaking process helps you also with your pulp quality and environmental performance.
Antiscalants and dispersants
Formation of mineral scales is a common problem in industrial processes, desalination as well as sewage and waste water treatment facilities. Antiscalants are substances preventing crystallized mineral salts (scale) from forming in e.g. water pipes, anaerobic digesters and dewatering trains. Our broad range of polymeric antiscalants and dispersants prevent inorganic scale and crystalization and help reduce maintenance time.Read More..
Biocides and disinfection
Biocide is a chemical or physical agent that prevents the biological deterioration of materials and has a controlling effect on harmful organisms. Biocides are used e.g. for disinfection, preservation, sterilization, sanitization and microbial control.
Biocide for Pulp and paper
Bacteria are always present in the water and pulp systems of cellulose-based processes such as papermaking or molded fiber production. Uncontrolled bacteria growth in the papermaking process can have drastic negative effects on production efficiency, profitability, and end product quality and safety.
Chemical flocculations
Polymers are chemicals used in flocculation. Flocculation is the process of agglomerating destabilized particles into bigger flocs. In wastewater flocculation and sludge treatment, colloidal particles are flocked in order to aid their removal or to help sludge dewatering. Polymers can be used alone or together with inorganic coagulants to make flocs bigger and more resistant to shear forces.
Coating Binders
Typically, a half of the coating cost at a paper or a board mill come from the binders that are used to bind the coating together to the base board. Arcis unique coating binders allow paper and board manufacturers to achieve twice the binding power of standard binders.
Defoamers for Pulp and paper
Foam control and air removal are crucial to prevent various quality, operational, and production issues at pulp and paper mills and in molded fiber production. Arcis has a complete line of defoamers to effectively control foam and entrained air in all pulp and paper processes, from pulping to coating applications and wastewater treatment.
Drinking pulp additive
Wide selection of chemicals for enhancing and optimizing the performance of pulping processes, drinking, and bleaching operations. With our deep pulp and paper chemistry expertise, we can help you increase your pulp mill’s production quality and efficiency, and provide benefits for the downstream process and the final paper, board, and tissue products.
Dry strength Resin
Dry strength is a key quality parameter for all paper and board grades. Arcis broad portfolio of dry strength additives include specifically designed technologies to be used with virgin, mechanical, recycled or mixed fibers and for the production of various paper, board, and tissue grades as well as molded fiber.
Wet strength Resin
Wet strength technologies are critical in the manufacturing of various moisture-resistant paper, board, and tissue grades and molded fiber products. Arcis broad range of permanent wet strength additives provide high efficiency while optimizing costs and ensuring that regulatory requirements for food safety and environment are met.
